Nicholis Homa 93 fell asleep in the Lord on Thursday morning, July 22, 2021.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Elik and Michael (Gladys) Homa and four sisters; Helen (Al) Rozelle, Anne Prorok, Margaret (Larry) Struble, and Marion (Bob) Bussom.
He was a member of St. Michael's Orthodox Church were he enjoyed working at the annual pirohi sales. He was a letter carrier for many years and retired as a supervisor for the US Postal Service. Nick was a Navy Veteran of WWII. He will be remembered for tending to his large garden and sharing the vegetables with his neighbors.
A Divine Liturgy will be celebrated by Very Rev. Protopresbyter James Dutko on Wednesday 10am at St. Michael's Orthodox Church, 292 Clinton Street, Binghamton. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
