On Saturday, June 5, 2021, heaven welcomed a beautiful soul. Lisa Marie Barcak, 54 passed away surrounded by her family and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Margaret Barcak and is survived by her sister, Cindy Rusnak and many beloved cousins and friends.
"Weezy" graduated from Maine-Endwell and BCC and recently retired after 25 years of service as a Broome County Corrections Officer. She enjoyed cooking, her cats, cruising, and gardening. She also loved watching and attending NASCAR races and rooting for #2, Brad Keselowski.
Her beautiful smile, kindness, compassion, and infectious giggles will be missed by all who knew her.
A funeral service will be offered by Very Rev. Protopresbyter James Dutko on Thursday 11am at St. Michael's Orthodox Church, 292 Clinton St., Binghamton where the family receive friends from 10-11am. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
