Agnes "Aggie" Paugh of Binghamton, 84, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday morning, April 28, at her family home.
She was predeceased by her parents, Vienna and Silvio Richard, and her devoted husband, Joseph William "Bill" Paugh, of 57 years. She was also predeceased by her brother Silvio Richard, Jr., her sister and her husband Nancy and Galen Willis, her daughter Theresa Blenco, her grandson William "Billy" Blenco, and her cousins Giacinto "Jack" Vallone and Jennie V. Pendleton.
She is survived by her brother, John (Mary) Richard, her daughter Antoinette "Toni" Kupillas, and five grandchildren, LeeAnn (David) Sand, Joseph Kupillas, Maria (Brent) Maloney, Kate Rose Kupillas, and Andrew Kupillas.
She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, Madison Long, Noah Long, Tiegan Sand, Ryan Sand, Hayden, Kameron, Olivia, and Jax Blenco, Theodora Maloney, Hugo Kupillas, Willoetta Mendock, Lucious Mendock, and Sawyer Kupillas, and her cousins, John Vallone, Agatina Vallone, and Tindara "Tina" Ruspantini. Aggie is also survived by two nieces, Kate and Anne Richard and her nephew, Andrew Richard.
Aggie was born in Binghamton, NY, on June 9, 1936, graduated from Binghamton North High School in 1954, and helped run her family's grocery store on Tompkins Street for many years.
Aggie dedicated her life to caring for people. She was selfless and devoted to her family and friends. Aggie was known to all as an "Angel." Aggie was a woman of faith who attended daily mass and supported many religious charities. Her generosity knew no bounds, and her wisdom and humor enriched the lives of all those she met. Aggie was loved by all who knew her.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday, May 3, 2021, at 10:00 am at Saints John and Andrew Catholic Church, 1263 Vestal Ave, Binghamton. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, 501 Fairview Street, Johnson City.
