Rosemarie (Steiner) Chesnick, 87, entered into eternal peace on January 21, 2021, at Lourdes Hospital. She was born March 29, 1933, the daughter of the late Paul and Theresa (Pavlacka) Steiner of Forest City, PA. She met and married her husband, Raymond moved to Binghamton to start their jobs and shared 60 years of marriage.

Rosemarie was preceded in death by her husband Raymond (Oct. 5, 2017) and her sister, Theresa (Steiner) Shipshinski (Dec. 21, 2019), and her loving shih tzu, Tuffie.

She was a member of the Church of Holy Trinity in Binghamton. She worked until her retirement at the General Electric (GE) plant in Westover.

Rosemarie is survived by her beloved shih tzu, Trixie. The couple were not blessed with children but are survived by nieces, nephews, and other close relatives on both sides of the families. Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions there will be a memorial mass for Rosemarie announced in the future at the convenience of the family.

Rosemarie will be remembered by all her family, friends, and neighbors as the gardener who loved her home and life, who always had a smile for others.
