Betty was born in El Salvador, the daughter of church pastors. She grew up in the midst of church plantings and evangelistic crusades. She was a long time member of City Church (First Assembly of God Binghamton). She had a great heart for the people, especially the youth, serving as a Youth Leader while living in Miami, FL, and years later leading a missionary trip to El Salvador from the local church. She was a devout Christian, a prayer warrior and an amazing friend.
Her family from El Salvador wishes to extend a very special thank you to all the friends that were close to her, especially in her last days. A graveside service was held on July 21, 2020 in the Veterans Section of Glenwood Cemetery, Town of DIckinson.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to Mercy House of the Southern Tier, 212 N. McKinley Ave. Endicott, NY 13760.
