Maria Rosa Nardoni 85 of Johnson City went to be with our Lord on Saturday afternoon, August 3, 2024, at Mercy House of the Southern Tier.

She Is survived by her daughter Marianna (Brian) Stimak of Johnson City, her grandchildren, Brittan (Adrianna), Avery (Zach), Sawyer Stimak, her K-9 buddy Colt and family in Italy.

Maria was a strong Italian woman that was proud of her heritage and her family. She enjoyed meeting new people and always made friends wherever she went. Maria enjoyed her flower gardening, baking, cooking and spending time with her family and friends which often included a good cup of Italian coffee and a biscotti. She became a Nonna to many and will be missed but the memories will live on forever.

Maria was a faithful member of St. Vincent DePaul Blessed Sacrament Church. She was a retired employee of the Eureka Camping Center of Conklin.

A Funeral Mass will be offered by the Rev. James P. Serowik on Thursday at 11am at St. Vincent DePaul Blessed Sacrament Church, 465 Clifton Boulevard, Vestal where the family will receive friends from 10am until 11am. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mercy House of the Southern Tier.
