Elaine Terpak, 89 fell asleep in the Lord on Wednesday morning, December 11, 2024 at Elizabeth Church Manor after a long illness.
She is predeceased by her husband of sixty-three years, Frank Terpak and her sister, Marian Short. She is survived by two sons Jerry (Cheryl) Terpak and Ronald (Becky) Terpak, two grandsons, Timothy and Jonathan (Natalie) Terpak, a great granddaughter, Zoe Terpak, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was an active member of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church. She was a retired sales associate for The Bon-Ton in Johnson City after many years of service. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at 10am at Dormition of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church, 54 Baxter St. Binghamton followed by a funeral service at 11am with Very Rev. Alexey Karlgut officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery at the convenience of the family.
