Helen's kitchen was always open, and you never left her home hungry. She was an excellent baker and loved her tea. She enjoyed playing cards with her family and friends at her home.
Helen was a member of Dormition of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church who spent many hours volunteering in the kitchen making their ethnic foods and dinners and organizing their rummage sales.
She was a retired employee of Amphenol/Cadre in Endwell.
A funeral service will be offered by the Very Rev. Ilya Gotlinsky on Friday at 11am at the Dormition of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church, 54 Baxter Street, Binghamton where the family will receive friends on Friday from 9:30am until the time of the service. Burial will be in the parish cemetery at the convenience of the family in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either Helen's church or to the charity of one's choice.
