Conrad R. Zlock 69 years, passed away unexpectedly at his home on April 16, 2026.

Was predeceased by his parents, Milo and Louise Zlock, his in-laws, Warren and Elizabeth Bakenhus and his loyal Jack Russell, Rusty.

He is survived by his loving wife of thirty-six years, Barbara Zlock; two sons, Kyle Zlock and Spencer (Klarisa) Zlock; two grandchildren, Sydney and Aiden Zlock, brother, Curtis Zlock; sister-in-law, Ellen (John) Matuszak; nephews and nieces, Matthew (Jennifer) Matuszak, Daniel Matuszak, Henry and Clara Matuszak; and many cousins.

Conrad graduated from Johnson City High School, class of 1975 and earned his Associate Degree from S.U.N.Y Delhi. He completed his apprenticeship program with Local Union #112 Pipefitter’s and obtained his journeyman certification in heating & air conditioning.

He worked at Stellmack Heating & Air Conditioning and retired from BorgWarner Automotive. He was a highly respected HVAC Master Mechanic/Technician. He was a proud member of UA Local Union #112 Plumbers and Pipefitters and Teamsters Local #341.

Conrad loved his family, his country, fishing, hunting and enjoying nature. He passed his fishing and hunting skills to his sons along with teaching them to always give one hundred and ten percent in everything they did. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and making their favorite foods.

Services will be held Thursday, May 28, 2026 at 11am at Our Saviour Lutheran Church, 731 Hooper Road, Endwell with Rev. Dr. Gary Neal Hansen officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, 4-7pm at the Chopyak-Scheider Funeral Home, 326 Prospect Street, Binghamton.
