John Barvinchak 103 years of Endwell, fell asleep in the Lord on Tuesday evening, August 9, 2022.
He was predeceased by his wife; Eva; daughter; Nancy Mack, brothers; Joseph and Michael, sister; Helen, half-brother; George, and a half-sister; Betty.
She is survived by his daughter; Janet McDonough, grandchildren; Brian and Jeffrey McDonough and Kristin and Teressa Mack, well-loved great grandchildren; sister; Margaret, brothers; Charles and Thomas and many nieces and nephews.
John was a retired machinist for IBM Endicott and an Army veteran of WWII.
John enjoyed travelling with his late wife, Eva to Hawaii and the Bahamas, hunting, fishing, and raising rhubarb, beans, potatoes, tomatoes, and corn in his garden.
A funeral service will be offered by the Very Rev. Protopresbyter James Dutko on Tuesday at 10am at St. Michael's Orthodox Church, 292 Clinton St., Binghamton, preceded by a visitation from 9am until the time of the service. Burial will be at Riverhurst Cemetery, Endwell.
