Pudish.
Grammy leaves behind her daughter Connie (John) Brown; her brother David (Sandy) Smith, her sister Glenda Martindale; her step-children Beth (Loren) Holland, Tom (Rosie) Pudish, Mary Tyneway, Carolyn Chalachan (Alan Harvey); her grandchildren Greg Lake, Sally Lake Smith, Karen Lake Bushong, Daniel Lake, David Morrison, Wendy Brown Murray, Virginia Brown Danskin, Larry Travis, Jeremy Travis, Matt Holland, David Holland, Keri Kessell, Mark Tyneway, Taylor Tyneway, Brian Tyneway, Jeremy Chalachan; as well as many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Grammy was employed at the US Post Office for better than 20 years. She started as a Clerk and retired as the Postmaster of Apalachin, NY Post Office.
Before time took its toll on her, she loved to travel. She and Bubba had traveled to Hawaii and Canada and every place in between. Casinos were a favorite as well. She and Bubba would travel with their posse of friends to any casino they could get to. Hosting parties in their home was a joy for her. At Christmas time you would find every nook, cranny and inch of wall space decorated.
Grammy loved her family and having a good time. She spent her retirement years living life to the fullest. Grammy will be missed by us all, but she will also be remembered.
A Funeral Mass will be offered by Monsignor John P. Putano on Saturday at 10am at Church of the Holy Trinity, 346 Prospect St, Binghamton. Burial will be at Slovak Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends 8:30 to 10am Saturday at the church.
