Nancy Tredo Kanazawich 85 years fell asleep in the Lord unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, December 21, 2021.
She was predeceased by her husband Peter Kanazawich; her brothers, Lyle and Gerald Tredo and her sister, Joyce Erickson.
She is survived by two daughters Linda (Al) Kelly of Springwater and Carol Ann Wallis of Johnson City, two grandsons, Mason Peter and Tanner Lee Wallis, sister-in-law, Patricia Tredo, nieces, nephews and her special friends, Susi Chebiniak, Marge Niederriter, and Joyce Holicky.
She loved and took pride in her grandsons and their achievements, taking care of her home and mowing her grass. She was an active member of St. John's Ukrainian Orthodox Church taking part in their fund raisers and annual parish picnics. She was a past president of it's social club and a member of St. Mary's Sisterhood.
A funeral service will be offered by Rev. Father Ivan Synevskyy on Monday at 10am at St. John's Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 1 St. John's Parkway Johnson City where the family will receive friends 9am until the time of the service. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Nancy's memory to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
