Philip Humphreys, 69, went to be with our Lord and Savior on October 19, 2021. He
was born and raised on Long Island under the care and guidance of his mother Joanne M.
Humphreys (predeceased) and father Thomas M. Humphreys (predeceased). As one of
three sons, Philip was the youngest amongst two caring brothers Thomas C. Humphreys
(Margie) and Matthew Humphreys (Karen).
After graduating college at SUNY Brockport and moving to Binghamton, NY, Philip met
his loving wife Holly (predeceased) his partner in life for almost 40 years. His hard work
ethic, passion for sports and love for art would become instilled in his three sons, Phil,
Benjamin, and Taylor.
During his life, Philip relished the time he spent with his wife and family. He was an avid
painter, reader and enjoyed watching the NY Giants play football every Sunday. He took
great pride watching his sons become responsible men and lived vicariously through
them and the rest of his loved ones. He was a loving father, a proud grandfather, a
dedicated husband and a true friend.
Along with the above, Philip is survived by his nephews Jacob and Joshua, his niece
Mary, his grandchildren Eva, Glenn, and Quinn and his daughter-in-law Meredith.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Kindly consider
